Washington Post: Ban Ki-moon asked to act on complaint against Beijing Games

The World Uyghur Congress, a group of exiled Uyghurs, have sent a letter to International Olympics Committee ethics chair Ban Ki-moon to move the 2022 Winter Olympics from Beijing citing human rights concerns. The statement comes after the Netherlands, Canada and the U.S. labelled China’s crackdown in Xinjiang as genocide.
