The Australian cyber security outfit Internet 2.0 compiled data showing that the sale of PRC tests for COVID-19 soared in Hubei Province months before official reports of the virus first emerged. This suggests that the virus was spreading in the northern summer of 2019, well before it was publicly acknowledged by the Chinese government.
