SCMP: China and Russia pledge cooperation on data security, Arctic sea route

Russia has endorsed a Beijing-led initiative on data, showing cooperation between these two states on cyberspace, the Arctic, and infrastructure. The initiative was launched in September to counter the Clean Network Programme, which was designed to restrict Chinese tech companies.
