Rhodium Group: China’s Greenhouse Gas Emissions Exceeded the Developed World for the First Time in 2019

Think tank Rhodium Group released its estimate of global greenhouse gas emissions for 2019, revealing for the first time that China’s emissions exceeded those of all other developed countries combined. China contributed to 27 percent of total global emissions, over twice the contribution of the United States, the second highest emitter.
