At an online event with Stanford University, Kurt Campbell, the White House’s Indo-Pacific policy coordinator, announced that the fall’s Quad meeting would be focused on infrastructure. The Quadrilateral Security Dialogue is a bloc that consists of Australia, India, Japan and the United States. Its focus on infrastructure aims to counter China’s Belt and Road Initiative. In addition, Campbell expressed his hope that the event would be held in-person.
