Reuters: Exclusive: China’s Huawei, reeling from U.S. sanctions, plans foray into EVs – sources

With severe U.S. sanctions impacting Huawei’s supply chain for smartphone products, especially access to computer chips, the tech company is exploring the electric vehicle industry. Huawei is currently in talks with Changan Automobile and BluePark New Energy Technology to manufacture electric vehicles.
