Reuters: Brazil may face ‘consequences’ if it gives Huawei 5G access, says U.S. ambassador

U.S. Ambassador to Brazil Todd Chapman warned Brazil it might face consequences if it uses Huawei equipment to create its 5G network. Chapman said Brazil would not face reprisals if they chose to use Huawei, but that the country would be in danger of intellectual property theft from China if it uses the company’s equipment.
