Nikkei: Huawei’s 5G business contracts top 1,000, spanning 20 industries

Huawei revealed that it has signed over 1,000 corporate 5G contracts, primarily in Asia and Africa. The company seeks to pivot from smartphones given the impact U.S. sanctions has had on production. To sustain its business short-term, Huawei has stockpiled semiconductor components.
