FT: UK told to use new telecoms suppliers after Huawei’s 5G exit

A government task force has recommended that the United Kingdom purchase 5G gear from smaller firms. The report comes a year after the United Kingdom banned Huawei from operating in its borders at the behest of former U.S. President Donald Trump.
