Foreign Affairs: Trump Turning More Countries in Europe Against Huawei

The U.S. State Department has recently announced a slate of agreements with Central and Eastern European countries on high-speed wireless internet technology. The agreements stress that when considering suppliers of 5G technology, whether or not the supplier is subject to the control of a foreign government should be taken into account. Though not mentioning China by name, these agreements seem to hamper the ability of Chinese companies like Huawei to compete.
