CNN: China signs huge Asia Pacific trade deal with 14 countries

China has signed a massive trade agreement with 14 other countries of the Asia Pacific region, creating a free trade zone of 2.2 billion people. Though how much economic benefit result from the agreement is yet to be seen, the deal is being widely regarded as a sign that China is building trade mechanisms and regional institutions that leave out the United States.
