The Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced Malaysia and China have agreed to a mutual recognition of COVID-19 vaccine certificates, allowing for greater cross-border travel between the two countries. Malaysia agreed to greater deployment of China’s COVID-19 vaccines. In addition, the two countries will establish a post-COVID-19 cooperation committee for greater cooperation in issues including trade, science and technology and Belt and Road Initiative projects.
