BBC: ‘It was hard to breathe’: China flood terror as train carriage submerged

This is a rainy time of year in China and floods happen annually, but Chinese scientists say global warming has made the situation more dangerous and warn that extreme weather could become more frequent in the future. In Henan, at least 25 people have died and more than 200,000 have been evacuated. This includes the hundreds who were saved from the flooded underground tunnel in Zhengzhou and the 12 who died in that disaster.
