BBC: China says manufacturing ‘greatness’ still 30 years away

A member of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, the top consultative body for the Chinese government, told party delegates that China is at least 30 years away from becoming a manufacturer of “great power.” Currently, manufacturing in China is at its lowest level since 2012.
