AP: Sri Lanka OKs commission to oversee Chinese-built port city

The Parliament of Sri Lanka voted to establish the Colombo Port City Economic Commission to administer a Chinese-constructed oceanside development. The construction project previously raised concerns that it would be akin to a Chinese colony, but the project also promises economic relief for the country hit hard by COVID-19.
