AP: China’s Huawei says sales down 16.5 percent amid U.S. sanctions

Huawei has lost ground in its global market share of smartphones as it U.S. sanctions have damaged the company’s smartphone sales. The sanctions prevent the sale of chips and services to Huawei on security grounds. Despite the fall in sales, Huawei’s profitability improved.
